The key to selling your property is to make it as inviting as possible. The following tips are things that will help you get the job done. OUTSIDE: Curb appeal is critical! We want people to stop and look not just drive by... 1. Pick up all debris, garbage cans, toys etc. from your yard. 2. Check gutters and the roof to make sure they are free of debris as well. 3. Keep your grass mowed! There are few things that look as good as a fresh mowed lawn. 4. Prevent bushes and shrubs from blocking any windows. Weed all planted areas. 5. Clear your decks and patios of excess furniture, BBQ'S, toys, small potted plants etc. REMOVE CLUTTER! 6. Check the paint condition especially of doors and trim. Do any touch painting that is necessary. (remember curb appeal!) INSIDE: 1. Keep decorative items on furniture to a minimum. 2. Clear all unnecessary items from kitchen counter tops. Remove pictures, magnets and everything from the front of your refrigerator. 3. If any room seems full store or remove items. Balance your furniture so buyers can visualize their things there. You want to make the rooms appear as large and bright as possible. 4. Patch and paint walls if necessary. 5. Clean windows, walls,carpets and drapes if needed. 6. Keep bathrooms tidy and store away extra toiletries from the counters. 7. Keep your beds made and your laundry put away or in a hamper. 8.
